 Premier Fire and Security’s Role:

Premier Fire and Security has been a key partner in the Regional Airport Terminal Modernization project, a transformative initiative launched in April 2024 and set to conclude in 2026.

This extensive renovation more than doubles the airport’s square footage, transforming the terminal from a single-story building into a state-of-the-art two-story structure. Upon completion, the facility will expand its capacity from 7 gates to 12, addressing growing passenger demand and modernizing its infrastructure.

Premier Fire and Security is responsible for installing approximately 348,000 square feet of advanced sprinkler coverage (excluding enabling work), ensuring cutting-edge fire protection for the upgraded terminal. Using full Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination, the team delivers precision in design and execution, collaborating seamlessly with the general contractor to maintain safety and efficiency in an active airport environment.

This project is a major milestone for this Regional Airport, enhancing its functionality, capacity, and safety systems. Premier Fire and Security is proud to contribute its expertise to a project that sets a new standard in airport modernization.
